We are delighted with the response from our readers pledging a daily Rosary in reparation for the sins of our country, and in petition through the Mother of God that heaven will provide our country with leadership that will recognize and protect the rights of God and the rights of man, and will protect and preserve the family as God established it.

We have recieved a few comments from persons who are worried that we are abandoning Our Lady's request for prayers for the conversion of Russia. We realize the conversion of Russia is not complete, and we are not suggesting that prayers for the complete conversion of Russia be discontinued.

However, we firmly beleive that at the present time our own country is in greater need of conversion than Russia. The efforts of atheistic Communism to wipe out belief in God has not been nearly as effective as the secularism of America is in giving rise to a society without God. If Communism, with help from Russia, has forcefully spread its ideology and errors to many countries, our own country has and is spreading its secularism throughout the world in more subtle ways, e.g. as a condition of foreign aid. We believe that our secularist America is doing more harm world-wide than is communist Russia.

We may have to continue our Rosaries far beyond Nov. 5th, but we trust they will hasten the return of the day of respect for the God-given rights of all.
